Jason M. Evans
Jason Evans is a systems and landscape ecologist who actively works in the fields of climate change adaptation, conservation science, and flood risk assessment. He frequently collaborates with large interdisciplinary teams to identify risks from flooding, water quality degradation, and habitat loss, while leading development of science-based interventions for mitigating these risks. Since 2019, Jason has served as Executive Director of Stetson's Institute for Water and Environmental Resilience, proudly overseeing the aquatic sciences field laboratory and native botanical gardens at the Sandra Stetson Aquatic Center. He also serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Environmental Management, one of the world's highest ranked publications in environmental science, engineering, and planning.
