Ty Stephenson

Ty is currently a graduate research assistant in Angela Strecker's lab at Western Washington University examining spatial and temporal trends in macroinvertebrate communities and water quality in streams and mountain lakes in the North Coast and Cascades Network, which includes North Cascades, Mount Rainier, and Olympic National Park. Ty received his Bachelors in Fish and Wildlife Conservation from Virginia Tech where he worked in multiple research labs studying aquatic communities. After completing undergrad Ty worked for the Wyoming Game and Fish department and the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection before starting his Master's degree.
