Beyond research, Mickala is an active member of the Commonwealth Honors College, serving as a peer advisor at the Bloom Honors Advising Center. They also work as a tour guide for UMass Amherst’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. After graduating, they plan to pursue a Master's degree in Environmental Health Sciences, with the long-term goal of attending medical school.
