Isabelle M Andersen

Hi, I'm Isabelle Andersen! I'm a broadly interested in ecosystem stoichiometry and phytoplankton community dynamics in lakes and ponds. I recently completed my Ph.D. in Biology at Baylor University, where I worked with Dr. Thad Scott. My dissertation focused on how imbalanced nitrogen and phosphorus supply influences phytoplankton composition, seston C:N:P stoichiometry, and biogeochemical processes in eutrophic freshwater ecosystems. Most of my research comes from a multi-year mesocosm experiment designed to test how lakes respond to extreme N:P loading ratios.
