Leanne M Stepchinski

Leanne Stepchinski is a hydrologist and postdoctoral researcher at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (USACE ERDC) through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE). Leanne’s research investigates effects of climatic and human development changes on natural resources, and mitigation of these changes to minimize negative impacts on natural systems and human communities. At ERDC, Leanne’s work aims to improve effectiveness of water resource assessment, management, and restoration practices. Leanne holds a B.S. in Geosciences from Trinity University and a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of South Florida. Leanne is also passionate about mentoring, leadership, and science communication.
