Sarah (Winnie) Winkoff
I am a ecosystem ecologist with an emphasis on the effects of human impacts and restoration techniques on freshwater and wetland ecosystem structure and function. I have worked in streams, lakes, and wetlands considering the transformation and storage of nutrients in various pools. My work has also emphasized the important role of restoration practices on plant communities and the need for directed invasive species management from the beginning of a restoration project.
