Meredith Bennett
Meredith received her BS and MS in Environmental Science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her undergraduate and master's research focused on using environmental DNA to detect freshwater mussels. Her dissertation research is focused on intermittent streams, specifically predicting patterns of stream drying, linking drying patterns to stream fish community structure, and assessing ecosystem responses to drying across multiple drainage basins. She is also passionate about science communication and served as Editor-in-Chief of Duquesne's scientific journal.
